Project Manager MICE at DMC RTA Spain - Malaga Office (m/f/d)

As we want to expand our amazing team, therefore we are looking for a new team player as PROJECT MANAGER MICE (m/f/d) in our Malaga office.

Your tasks

• creating offers (in German and English) according to the clients requirements
• consulting clients (in DACH region) via telephone and email to get the best experience during their events in Spain
• maintaining existing network of suppliers and establishing new business relationships with new partners and products related to MICE business in Spain (research of hotels, restaurants, venues, activities)
• pricing and negotiation with suppliers and partners for best value of money
• support and increase the production of existing clients and acquisition of new accounts
• administrative tasks and database maintenance (reporting and market studies on request)
• close collaboration with German Sales office
• attending fairs and sales calls to present RTA and aquire new business opportunities (optional)
• creation of newsletters and mailings (optional)

Your profile

• studies and degree in Tourism Management/Destination Management/Event Management or similar
• one year experience in a DMC or a good general knowledge of MICE industry
• very good knowledge of Spain as MICE destination
• high degree of customer and service orientation, good communication skills, high flexibility and team player
• ability to work efficiently and with deadlines, well structured, disciplined and success orientated
• good knowledge of spoken and written German and English. Basic knowledge of Spanish is welcome.
• good computer skills (MS Office, essentially power point and excel)
• availability to travel within the country (driver's license) and outside Spain (optional)
